Kudakwashe Borerwi’s journey with Charis Bible College began back in 2018 while he was still working in the hospital industry. That same year, he took a bold step and enrolled at Charis Bible College in Cape Town, where he completed three years of study and graduated in 2020.

During his time as a student, Kuda was also an active volunteer at Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM), showing a genuine heart for ministry and service. In 2020, he joined the AWM team as a Prayer Call Minister and was later promoted to Partner Relations Manager. His passion for people and strong leadership qualities earned him a spot in AWM’s Director Training Program, which he successfully completed in 2021.

After finishing the program, Kuda returned home to Zimbabwe, where he took on the role of Coordinator for the Charis Bible College campus in Mutare. After a year of dedicated service, he was appointed Director of the Harare campus in 2023.

Today, Kuda continues to serve as Director in Harare, where he’s deeply committed to helping students grow in their walk with God. He is happily married to Marvellous Borerwi, and together they are blessed with two wonderful children.

Michelle Nozipho Moyo
Michelle Nozipho MoyoCharis Bulawayo Coordinator

Born and raised in the City of Kings—Bulawayo—Michelle Nozipho Moyo’s life took a significant turn in 2008 when she unexpectedly came across Andrew Wommack’s teaching on Spirit, Soul, and Body, playing one afternoon on Gospel Truth. That message profoundly impacted her, drawing her into a much deeper relationship with Jesus. It was such a pivotal moment that she told her parents she wanted to go to Bible college instead of university.

Michelle went on to complete her studies at Charis Bible College in Heidelberg, South Africa, where she developed not only spiritually but also in leadership and practical ministry. After finishing three years at Charis in 2012, she felt God calling her back home to Bulawayo to serve the very city that shaped her.

Starting out as a volunteer, Michelle’s dedication and heart for people soon led her into the role of Bulawayo Coordinator—a position she now holds with great joy and passion. In 2024, she completed her internship in Cape Town, South Africa, further equipping her for the work ahead.

Michelle is passionate about walking alongside students as they grow, encouraging them as they pursue and step into their God-given purpose.

Shepherd Shumbayarerwa
Shepherd ShumbayarerwaCharis Mutare Coordinator

Shepherd is a dedicated husband to his wife, Mirriam, and a proud father of three boys. He brings over 16 years of experience in pastoral ministry, including time spent as a missionary in Namibia. His heart is deeply rooted in outreach and discipleship.

Over the years, Shepherd has partnered with various para-church ministries, traveling across Southern Africa to help local churches share the gospel more effectively. His journey with Charis Bible College began in 2016—and it was truly life-changing. His time there brought about a powerful transformation in his personal life, marriage, and ministry.

Through his experiences, Shepherd became convinced that discipleship is the key to overcoming what he calls the “saved-and-stuck” struggle—something he’s witnessed both in his own journey and in the lives of others. After graduating, he went on to serve as Dean of Students at his local Charis campus in Mutare, and later at the Durban campus South Africa in 2023.

Today, Shepherd continues his mission as the Coordinator at Charis Bible College in Mutare, Zimbabwe, where he remains committed to equipping others and advancing the gospel.
